Full spectrum for all stages of growing from seed to harvest.

With Super Helios shining a bright and non-damaging light on your plants, you can expect them to grow, flourish and blossom in front of your very eyes.

You cannot get this full-spectrum arrangement from anywhere else in the world as we are Number One when it comes to quality and affordability.

Don’t let the size of Super Helios fool you! Good things come in small packages! This state of the art, unassuming LED grow light solution is fully capable of providing your plants with a high and expansive light intensity — emitting light over the entire grow area and giving the best results.

Introducing Super Helios series LED Grow lights

Full spectrum for all stages of growing. From seed to harvest.

Named after the Greek Sun God, Helios, this revolutionary light is as powerful as the God himself. According to myth he rode a golden chariot drawn by four fiery steeds, and the same power, stealth and brightness can be said of the SUPER HELIOS light.

Hi-Tech COB LED Clusters

All models utilise an advanced 200W, Chip-On-Board [COB] technology, full spectrum cluster unit. This provides a huge power density and excellent spectrum blending across the grow area.  These High performance Integrated LED’s are the centrepiece of our latest high power LED Grow Light, a next generation set-up providing high power and efficiency whilst greatly improving reliability.

Integrated LED’s

Integrated LED’s are functionally the same as their traditional counterparts, but rather than individually cased LED’s they are miniaturised and combined into single, multiple-spectrum arrays. This provides considerable advantages in thermal dissipation, creating a positive effect on lifetime, reliability and allowing us to produce lamps that enter the next power-factor.

The High Powered 3 Watt LED’s are carefully selected from LED Manufacturers such as Bridgelux, Cree and Epistar and thoroughly quality checked before leaving the factory

The spectrums we use are 440nm, 460nm, 630nm and 660nm, UVB, IR and Blending makes this a full spectrum grow light. Even though this spectrum is the currently the best, our researchers are always looking for new advancements in fine tuning wavelengths and spectrums which will enable us to provide improved spectrums moving forward. Additionally, these units are fully upgradeable.

Heat Management

Whilst being hugely more efficient than other methods of turning energy into light, 100% efficiency is impossible.  Therefore LED’s tend to generate heat and which needs to be dispersed away from the LED chips themselves.  Note also that the LED’s spectral output is affected by the chip running temperature.  Bottom line is : the better the heat-sinking and thermal management, the better the long term stability and reliability of your LED grow light.

Each Super Helios module has the mixed array LED hand soldered onto a metal core printed circuit board [PCB], These are the finest component boards you can get for LED’s, specifically designed and produced by our own team of engineers.

Mounted on top of these are dual core, double plated copper heat sinks for superior cooling.

The efficient heat transfer paste is also carefully selected and tested thoroughly for its best heat dissipation from the LED diode to Heat-sink.

The whole internal components & copper Heat sinks are kept cool by high speed quiet ball bearing fans.

The only slightly warm air that comes from this unit is generated from heat-sink exhausts from inside the unit. They are designed to transfer heat away from the rear of the LED diodes themselves.

The fronts of the lights are slightly warm to the touch. So heat generation is almost Zero. This also helps the Residual Humidity inside the area. From Germination to Flowering, this LED is very capable of creating BIG yields, BIG dense flowers and fruit and has been proven over and over again by satisfied customers around the world.

PPF

PPF is photosynthetic photon flux. PPF measures the total amount of PAR that is produced by a lighting system each second. This measurement is taken using a specialized instrument called an integrating sphere that captures and measures essentially all photons emitted by a lighting system. The unit used to express PPF is micromoles per second (μmol/s). This is probably the second most important way of measuring a horticulture lighting system, but, for whatever reason, most lighting companies don’t list this metric. It is important to note that PPF does not tell you how much of the measured light actually lands on the plants, but is an important metric if you want to calculate how efficient a lighting system is at creating PAR.

PPFD

PPFD is photosynthetic photon flux density. PPFD measures the amount of PAR that actually arrives at the plant, or as a scientist might say: “the number of photosynthetically active photons that fall on a given surface each second”. PPFD is a ‘spot’ measurement of a specific location on your plant canopy, and it is measured in micromoles per square meter per second (μmol/m2/s). If you want to find out the true light intensity of a lamp over a designated growing area (e.g. 4’ x 4’), it is important that the average of several PPFD measurements at a defined height are taken. Lighting companies that only publish the PPFD at the center point of a coverage area grossly overestimate the true light intensity of a fixture. A single measurement does not tell you much, since horticulture lights are generally brightest in the center, with light levels decreasing as measurements are taken towards the edges of the coverage area. (Caveat Emptor: Lighting manufacturers can easily manipulate PPFD data. To ensure you are getting actual PPFD values over a defined growing area, the following needs to be published by the manufacturer: measurement distance from light source (vertical and horizontal), number of measurements included in the average, and the min/max ratio). Fluence always publishes the average PPFD over a defined growing area at a recommended mounting height for all of our lighting systems.
