The LUMii BLACK LED 720W 6 Bar Fixture is a high-performing, high-efficiency mid-range 6-bar LED fixture. Lightweight owing to not having an integral ballast, it is easy to install. Powered by the LUMii BLACK 600W Electronic Ballast (supplied) which can be either mounted on the fixture, using brackets provided, or positioned remotely. The open construction of the fixture and its very low heat output assist airflow and heat management. Produces full spectrum light ideal for the whole plant lifecycle.

The PowerPlant Tube 25w UV/FR LEDs are tube-format supplementary lights adding UVA (365nm, 385nm & 395nm) and Far-Red (730nm) wavelengths to increase yield and quality of crops, stimulate growth and promote flowering. Easily hung from the LUMii BLACK LED 720W 6 Bar Fixture, they are powered independently from a mains power outlet, and we recommend scheduling by means of a timer for 2 hours per day. An array of up to 36 linked tubes can be powered from one 13 A power socket.

Q: Can I power and schedule both the LUMii BLACK LED 720W 6 Bar Fixture and the PowerPlant Tube 25w UV/FR LEDs from the same mains outlet and timer?
A: It is possible that you could, but we don’t recommend it for several reasons:

While the LUMii BLACK LED 720W 6 Bar Fixture will be lit for a photoperiod of 18 or 12 hours each day, it is recommended that the PowerPlant Tube 25w UV/FR LEDs are lit for only 2 hours during that photoperiod, so the 2 units need to be timed separately.
The PowerPlant Tube 25w UV/FR LEDs will need only a simple 24hr timer to schedule them. A similar timer could be used to schedule the LUMii BLACK LED 720W 6 Bar Fixture, but you may wish to control it differently. If you do have several fixtures, then you could control several pairs of PowerPlant Tube 25w UV/FR LEDs linked together daisy-chain style, using the same timer, provided that you do not exceed the amp rating of the timer, power socket or leads.
If something goes wrong, and a plug fuse is blown, it will be easier to identify the fault if each unit is powered separately.
